John Rosengren is the author of eight books, including the short story collection Life is Just a Party: Portrait of a Teenage Partier (Deaconess), the nonfiction exposé Blades of Glory: The True Story of a Young Team Bred to Win (Sourcebooks) and the definitive biography Hank Greenberg: The Hero of Heroes (Penguin). His articles have appeared in more than 100 publications, ranging from The Atlantic to Sports Illustrated. With a master's degree in creative writing from Boston University, he has taught literature and writing at the high school and college level. He is a member of the American Society of Journalists & Authors and the Society for American Baseball Research. He has lived in London, Paris and Florence but currently resides in his native Minneapolis with his wife Maria and their two children.
